Most orders are handcrafted within 3 to 5 business days after design approval, then shipped. Standard delivery takes about 5 to 7 business days after that; expedited arrives in about 2 to 3 business days after it ships.
Standard shipping is $10 flat nationwide. Expedited shipping is $25 when selected, with delivery in about 2 to 3 business days after it ships. The free-shipping offer applies only to standard shipping: free standard shipping on your first order over $150, through October 31. After that, $10 flat standard.
Because every piece is made just for you with your own photo, personalized orders are final sale once you approve the design. If it arrives damaged, or it is not what you approved, we will make it right at no cost — a replacement or a full refund. You can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve the design.

I’m Wiley Albritton. I make every piece by hand right here in Coshocton, Ohio, and I’ve been working with slate for about two years.
I started Albritton’s Art for one reason. I wanted to give people something special to enjoy, and to keep the memories going — a photo you love, turned into something you can hold and look at every day. That is the whole idea behind every piece I make.
What I love most is seeing what people choose to keep — the wedding, the grandkid on the porch, the dog that slept at the foot of the bed, the mom whose name still comes up at every dinner. That choice is always the most interesting part of the job.
I print each photograph onto the natural stone myself, and I show you the design for your approval before anything is made.

Yes. Custom photo slates are created from photographs supplied by the customer. Clear, high-quality photographs generally produce the best results — wedding photos, portraits, family pictures, pet photos, and memorial photographs are all popular choices.
Yes, all three. Memorial photo slates for loved ones and pets, and wedding photo slates — weddings are one of the most popular choices for a personalized keepsake.
Albritton’s Art™ is one workshop in Coshocton, Ohio. There is no storefront and no visiting address — every piece is made by hand here and shipped to your door.
Aim to order by November 15 — that is the comfortable date, and your piece has plenty of room. December 5 is the last day to order for Christmas delivery. Mother’s Day gifts by April 30, graduation gifts by May 1, and Father’s Day gifts by June 10. Wedding keepsakes should be ordered at least three weeks before the wedding date. Nothing is made until you approve your design. If you are past a deadline, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether your date is doable.

Yes — choose a gift certificate at checkout. The buyer picks the size and pays, and the recipient receives a card with a gift code telling them the piece is already paid for and they choose the photo whenever they are ready. To redeem it, they send their photo together with the code. Nothing is made until they approve the design, and there is no expiry on the certificate.
Yes. At checkout, choose “Ship it as a gift” and the address you enter becomes the recipient’s address. Add a short message and Wiley writes it by hand on a small note card that ships with the piece, so your gift arrives ready to give. You still get the receipt and any questions go to you.
