There is one photograph in almost every family that everybody argues about who gets to keep. That is the one to use. The reunion shot, the holiday where everyone actually made it, the four generations somebody finally got into one frame.

And if the picture is on somebody’s phone rather than in a frame, that is exactly the point. A phone photograph prints beautifully on the stone — it just needs to be an original file rather than a screenshot.

Moms tend to be the ones holding the family archive, which is why a piece with all of the kids or all of the grandkids in it lands so hard. If there are grandchildren, that photograph is the gift — every time, without exception.

An 8 × 10 at $55 suits a piece with wording on it, like a name, a date, or a short line. A 5 × 7 at $40 works beautifully for just the picture.

You approve the design before anything is made, which matters more on a gift than on anything else, because you see exactly what they will open on Christmas morning.

Most orders are handcrafted within 3 to 5 business days after you approve the design, then shipped. Standard delivery takes about 5 to 7 business days after that, and expedited arrives in about 2 to 3. Our published Christmas order-by date is December 5.
