Every piece is a slab of natural slate, split from the stone. The chiseled edge is left exactly as it broke, so no two pieces are ever quite the same.

The photograph is printed permanently into the face of the stone. There is no glass over it, no glare, and nothing to frame or hang — it stands on its own.
A matte finish that shows the image clearly

Sizes are the hardest thing to picture from a number. All six are drawn to true scale on our size guide on the order page, next to familiar things like an index card and a standard photo print, so you can compare them before you choose.
How ordering works
Four steps, and nothing is printed until you approve it
Send the photo you want on the stone
Text it, email it, or upload it during your order. The original file from your camera roll is ideal, but send whatever you have — the photograph you already own is almost always good enough.
I help with the photo personally
Wiley handles the photo selection, cleanup, cropping, and layout himself, even if the picture is old, faded, or imperfect. Send two and he will tell you honestly which one will look best on the stone.
You approve the design before anything is made
You see the layout — the photo, the names, the dates — and nothing is printed until you say it is right. You can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve it.
Handcrafted, then shipped to your door
Most orders are handcrafted within 3 to 5 business days after you approve the design, then shipped. It arrives boxed with its stand, ready to set out.

Shipping, tax and returns
Shipping. $10 flat nationwide standard, or $25 expedited (about 2 to 3 business days). $25 expedited shipping is always charged. Free standard shipping is available on your first order over $150 through October 31. After that, $10 flat.
Sales tax. Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout for your location. The exact amount is shown before you confirm.
Timing. Most orders are handcrafted within 3 to 5 business days after you approve the design, then shipped. Standard delivery takes about 5 to 7 business days after that; expedited arrives in about 2 to 3. See the order-by dates if you are shopping for a holiday.
Returns. Because every piece is made just for you with your own photo, personalized items are final sale once you approve the design. If it arrives damaged, or it is not what you approved, we make it right at no cost — a replacement or a full refund. And you can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve the design.

We ship to customers throughout the country from Coshocton, Ohio. It is one workshop and one pair of hands, so there is no storefront to visit anywhere else — every piece is made here and sent to your address, wherever that is.
